Kellen began taking gymnastics when he was young. He competed through USAG Level 4 (old ranking system) in junior high school. Kellen took a break and came back to gymnastics at the end of high school.
Kellen enjoys coaching levels 1-4 because they know the basics and are eager to learn more advanced technique (He feels like a ten year old at heart so he gels well with this age group). His favorite event is trampoline because he gets to fly. Kellen loves the energy level of kids and that always keeps him motivated.
