Policies and Procedures
Here at Seattle Gymnastics Academy we strive to provide the very best service to our customers. Here are a few things to keep in mind.
* We offer no credits or refunds once payment has been made. At that point, the gym, the instructor and you are committed. If a conflict develops, we will happily switch your child to another class, day or time provided there is space available. We have this policy so that we can provide the best classes for your child with the fewest interruptions. When we have gymnasts coming in and out of classes, it can be very distracting to the other kids in class and it diminishes the quality of the class and the instruction.
*We happily accept any child regardless of allergies or medical conditions, however we ask that, if your child has any sort of special needs that you let the front desk know. We have a separate form for you to fill out telling us how to handle your child's medical conditions or allergies. You MUST let us know, so that the instructor knows the issue.
*Make-ups –
-We allow a maximum of 2 make-ups per session and we ask that they be made up within the session of the missed classes.
-We cannot guarantee make-ups but we will do our very best to accommodate everyone who needs a make-up.
-Gymnasts 6 and up may come to Open Gym, for free, every Saturday that we are open at 12:30 for a coach lead, station-oriented make-up.
-Gymnasts 5 and under may come to one of our pre-determined make-up classes. If you are planning on coming to one of our make-up classes please call and schedule your make-up at least the day before so that we have time to let our instructors know that you will be there.
-If your child is 5 and under but the pre-determined make-up classes don’t work in your schedule then you may come to any of our Indoor Playgrounds for free at your convenience.
-Please note, you may not drop in on another class. It degrades the instruction for the children in that class.
-Please call your Registrar at 206-362-7447 to schedule.
*If you are on a competitive team or in our preschool, your monthly payment is due in full on the first business day of every month. If there is no payment received by the 10th of the month, we assess a $25 late fee on your account.
* SGA must have a parent-signed waiver form for EVERY child who goes out on the floor.
* Believe it or not, SGA has never closed for snow. You can call or check our front page but we'll be here to teach and give our road condition reports! "Snow days" are not an issue for SGA.
