Amy Lindhardt
Amy competed for 10 years at Oak Harbor Gymnastics School on Whidbey Island. While competing in the Advanced Optional Level, Amy was known for assisting her colleagues as she advanced her own gymnastics career. At a young age, Amy was able to come alongside her teammates and help them to perfect their skills and choreography. Amy's favorite competitive event was the Balance Beam. Although, the Beam is usually known for its high intensity and pressure, Amy thoroughly enjoyed it.
Amy works with a wide variety of ages at SGA. She loves having the oppurtunity to coach and play with the preschool age kids. As the Team Director, she also loves seeing her upper optional girls learn new and difficult skills. Amy especially enjoys coaching her gymnasts on her favorite event, the Balance Beam.
Amy is a detail and goal oriented coach. She has an excellent understanding of body positioning and is able to communicate well with her gymnasts. She is wonderful at creating realistic, yet challenging goals for all of her gymnasts. Building on their strong gymnastics foundation, Amy's gymnasts are prepared to incorporate new skills and achieve the gymnast's set goals.
