Elaine Walker
Elaine competed for 11 years, starting out at a small gym called Marc's Gymnest. Her first coach came to her school for an assembly and picked her to be a demonstrator- and she's been hooked ever since! Elaine finished her club gymnastics career as a Level 8 here at Seattle Gymnastics Academy and went on to compete for a couple of years at Shorewood High School in gymnastics as well as in cheerleading. Elaine is passionate about gymnastics and loves to share the magic with all ages. She not only works with the youngest of our gymnasts, but our Junior Olympic competitive gymnasts as well. As a team coach, her favorite event to coach is the Balance Beam. It takes grace, strength, balance, confidence- everything great in gymnastics.
Elaine's goal while teaching gymnastics at SGA is to find the best combination of teaching techniques for each child depending on their age, ability and goals. She wants every child she works with to love gymnastics and feel successful.
