John has been SGA's Boys Program Director and Boys Team Head Coach since he was hired in 2004. John has over 17 years of experience coaching gymnastics here in the Pacific Northwest.
John began his gymnastics career in Boys Classes here at SGA in 1984 - competing for SGA and Cascade Elite gymnastics until 1992. John went on to coach recreational and competitive boys for 11 years at Cascade Elite. He was Head Coach of 10 State Team Champions, 13 State All Around Winners, 7 Regional All Around Champions, 1 High Bar National Champion & 4 National Team members. In addition, John was voted Washington State Coach of the Year in 1998 & 2004
John lives in Edmonds with his wife Nicole and son Harrison (Harry).
