Tarah grew up in Hawaii where she took gymnastics and dance (Ballet & Jazz) classes throughout elementary school. She competed gymnastics locally and at the state level for a total of 7 years of training. She especially enjoyed learning new tricks during her non-competitive seasons. While she had never coached gymnastics prior to SGA, she brings the experience of coaching Hurdles and Swimming. Tarah also has over 5 years of experience teaching Preschool and Kindergarten in private Seattle Schools.
Tarah likes coaching children because she enjoys observing the progress they make from the beginning to the end of class.
